OUR
STORY
I started doodling when I was bored in class. It has now become my greatest tool for stress relief in times of panic and uncertainty.
I used to draw repetitive lines and circles because I didn't know how to do draw anything else! I soon realised those simple strokes are the base of any pattern. I started finding cute objects to doodle and decorate with patterns to make my aimless doodling a bit more fun.
Since then, I've participated in various art therapy workshops and courses that have shown me how this "aimless" doodling is an incredible tool for stress relief, creativity and focus. A popular activity is the Zentangle which closely relates to my doodle process (available for free below).
I decided to start sharing this process with others. I'd print or draw "doodle vessels" for friends to decorate and doodle for stress relief with me. We love these activities and hope you'll enjoy doodling with them too!

This is why many people find doodling to be a therapeutic activity. In addition to reducing stress, doodling has several other benefits, including:
1
Improved memory retention
2
Increased creativity

3
Better focus and concentration
4
Boosted self-expression
Doodling is a simple but effective way to relieve stress and relax. It's an activity that can be done anywhere, at any time, and requires no special skills or equipment. Read more about Scribbling for Stress Relief with Ink Meo.
Tips for Doodling
Starting to doodle is as simple as finding a pen and a piece of paper. You don't have to be an artist to benefit from doodling – it's more about the process than the end result. Experiment with different types of pens, colors, and paper, and find what works best for you.
All it takes is a few lines and shapes to be creative today. Here are some tips for doodling for stress relief:
1
Start simple! Filling a shape with repetitive lines is the best way to start, especially when you’re feeling stuck. Draw a simple shape then fill it with a simple line pattern.
2
Focus on your breathing and relax your muscles.
3
If you feel you’ve made a mistake, don’t erase it, just keep going and try mould it into something your eyes like.
4
Let your mind wander and don't worry about the end result. Draw the first thing that comes to mind. Don’t overthink it or second guess yourself, just let the process unfold.
